Translation is the connective tissue of good companies

It is also central to good teaching: understanding what someone needs to know, locating the real source of confusion, and making a complex idea usable without losing what matters

My work has moved across product, data, technology, commercial teams, and markets in China and the wider world

That range has taught me to see the same problem from multiple perspectives, recognize what gets lost between them, and communicate at the level of detail that helps people build capability and move forward

I translate customer needs into product choices, technical constraints into business trade-offs, data into decisions, and cultural context into products and operating models that can travel

The goal is not only clarity in a single conversation, but the shared language, systems, and feedback loops that make collaboration work over time
